You will be provided with a map of the area. Feel free to wander throughout the Fort at your leisure and interact with guides in six specific interpretive stations. These stations will highlight the fascinating history and culture of the Alaskan gold rush, the Tlingit tribe, the Fort, and the town of Haines. Along the route, you can find a walk-through outdoor art exhibit, buildings on the national register of historical places, art galleries, totem poles, a replica Tlingit long house, old military equipment, The Alaska Indian Arts Center, and much more.
