Stunning Vistas
Today’s tour first takes us to Coquimbo's La Herradura Bay, which translates as “Horseshoe Bay” in reference to its distinctive shape. Here we’ll learn about the pirates and corsairs who explored and plundered this coast.
Continuing our scenic coastal drive north, we head toward the city of La Serena, with its emblematic 91-foot-high lighthouse. We’ll then walk downtown to visit the archaeological museum, which is located only one block away from the picturesque La Recova Market.
