Church walk
We’ll begin with a stroll to Castro’s Plaza de Armas. Here you’ll find the Church of San Francisco, the main Catholic church of Chiloé Island. Its neo-Gothic style is unusual for this area. Continue to the Museo Regional de Castro which houses a well-organised collection of Huilliche relics. Then walk downhill to the rich handicraft market to shop and admire the local artisanal work.
