During this activity, explore the tropical forest surrounding Bahia Solano, accompanied by an expert birdwatching guide. Ornithologists and visitors from around the world come to Chocó hoping to see some of the 650 bird species that live in the Pacific Region. Bahia Solano is a great place to birdwatch, as it is home to several endemic species and is located along an important migratory corridor. Prepare your hiking boots, binoculars, and camera to snap some beautiful birds in an unspoilt and unique location.

  • Remarks/requirements: Loose comfortable clothing with long sleeves and a hat to protect from the sun. Comfortable walking shoes with good grip, waterproof jackets in case of rain, insect repellent, binoculars, cameras

  • Walking information: Guest will walk three hours through primary and secondary forest and uneven muddy surfaces.
