Historical highlights

A bus will take you to the Sitka National Historical Park. Walk along the forest trail lined with totems, view cultural exhibits, or watch Alaskan artists at work in the carving room. Your next stop is the Sheldon Jackson Museum, with its extensive collection of art and artifacts from Native cultures. The tour ends with a special performance by the Alaska Storytellers at Centennial Hall.

  • Remarks/requirements: Hard-packed dirt at the Sitka Totem National Park may be difficult to traverse with a wheelchair. Local shopping is available after the tour. Restrooms are available at the park, Sheldon Jackson Museum, and Centennial Hall.
