Does Hurtigruten offer departures with no single supplement, so I can better assist my solo clients?
Our prices are based on double occupancy. However, to help your solo clients save, we frequently offer no single supplement on select voyages. This allows them to enjoy a private cabin at the same per person rate as those travelling in pairs. When searching for voyages, simply set the number of passengers to “1” to view eligible sailings.

How much is the deposit required to hold/confirm a booking?
We can hold a booking for 7 days with an initial non-refundable 25% payment if booking more than 90 days before departure. Any departures less than 90 days from the time of booking, will require a full payment.

How do I apply the Ambassador discount when booking a voyage?
When booking online, enter your client’s 1893 Ambassador number along with their personal details. The discount will be applied automatically in the shopping basket if eligible. Please note that since the Ambassador number is entered later in the booking process, discounted fares will not appear on the fares and availability page. They will be shown in the shopping basket and on the final invoice. Read more about our Ambassador Loyalty Programme.

Why am I getting a higher price than the ’from price’ online?
You may see a higher price than the listed “from price” because it’s based on double occupancy for the lowest cabin category across all departure dates, and factors like single occupancy, selecting a different date, or sold-out cabins can affect your final price; due to dynamic pricing, availability and pricing updates may be delayed, so searching alternate dates can help find the best rates.

Do travel agents get access to discounted prices?

Terms and conditions for agents
These Agency and Agency Portal Terms and Conditions (these "Terms") govern your use of the Hurtigruten Agency Portal (the "Agency Portal") and are a binding legal agreement between the agency ("Agency" or "you") accessing the Agency Portal and Hurtigruten. These terms and conditions also govern all bookings made between Agent and Hurtigruten, through the Agency Portal or otherwise, when incorporated into any commission agreement you may have with Hurtigruten AS or any of its affiliates ("Hurtigruten", or "us") or any other document between you and us that references these Terms ("Commission Agreement" and together with these Terms, this "Agreement") and Hurtigruten.
We may revise and update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes to Terms, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on our website, and we will update the effective date at the end of these Terms. We may also notify you by email or other method. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of the Agency Portal, and all bookings made by you thereafter. Your continued use of the Agency Portal following the posting of revised Terms, and your continued bookings following notification of revisions, means that you accept and agree to the changes.
Commission details, payment terms and marketing commitments, if any, and other policies, terms and conditions shall be as set forth in the Commission Agreement, on the Agent Portal or as otherwise made available by Hurtigruten online. In the event of any conflict between the Commission Agreement and these Terms or other online terms posted by Hurtigruten, the Commission Agreement shall control, followed by these Terms.
Agency Portal Access and Availability.
Only Agencies approved by Hurtigruten and with valid IATA certification may access and use the Agency Portal or make bookings with Hurtigruten as agents. Agency must immediately notify Hurtigruten of any suspension or termination of its IATA certification and cease all booking activities, and use or access to the Agency Portal.
Any user ID, password or other credential that you may use to access the Agency Portal is personal to Agency and may not be shared with or disclosed to any third party by Agency. You are directly responsible to Hurtigruten for any and all access or use of the Agency Portal, and any booking made, which utilizes your credentials. Hurtigruten has the right to disable any ID or other access credential at any time.
We reserve the right to disable or make changes to the Agency Portal at any time. We will not be liable if for any reason the Agency Portal or any portion is unavailable at any time or for any period. You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Agency Portal (e.g., providing your own equipment and internet access).
Passenger Terms and Conditions. Each voyage booked by or through the Agency is subject to, and governed by, the passenger terms and conditions available at https://www.Hurtigruten.us/practical-information/terms-and-conditions/ (as amended from time to time by Hurtigruten, the "Passenger Terms and Conditions"). No voyage may be booked without reference to the Passenger Terms and Conditions prior to booking and in any communication delivered to passengers following a booking. Agency is responsible for familiarizing itself with the Passenger Terms and Conditions.

Agency's failure to timely report reservations may result in the immediate release of Agency allotments, if any. A confirmation number must be received from Hurtigruten acknowledging its receipt and confirmation of a booking before a reservation is valid. Hurtigruten has no obligation to honor, and may refuse, any reservation unaccompanied by a Hurtigruten-issued confirmation number.
Passenger Changes.
All passenger changes must be made through Agency. If a passenger requests changes to the passenger's reservation directly from Hurtigruten, Hurtigruten shall re-direct the passenger back to Agency for handling.

Pricing Errors or Omissions.
Hurtigruten attempts to ensure the accuracy of the pricing reflected on the Agency Portal or otherwise made available by Hurtigruten. However, in the event of an error or omission, Hurtigruten reserves the right to cancel or adjust the pricing of any reservation that is impacted by the error. The commissions payable to Agency shall likewise be adjusted. In the event Hurtigruten cancels such a reservation, a full refund will be made and cancellation fees will not apply, unless an alternate resolution is required by applicable law.
