Lofoten Seaweed was founded by fisherman’s daughter Angelita and foodie Tamara, who – influenced by their Norwegian and Japanese heritages – combine the world’s purest seafood with their cherished culinary traditions. Despite their different backgrounds, they are united by the same belief – that the future of food lies in the ocean.

Their seaweed is harvested by hand in the cold, nutrient-rich waters of Nappstraumen: the world’s fourth-strongest tidal current. They focus on sustainable harvesting to bring you innovative and nutritious seaweed products, straight from the ocean to your plate.
