NB: The information on this page is only applicable to The North Cape Line sailings departing between December 2024 and April 2025. For sailings after this time, this page will be updated with the appropriate information at a later date.

Cruise only (booked within 90 days prior to departure)
The following details are for those who have booked The North Cape Line tour. Please check your personal itinerary for what you have included. If you have pre-booked any transfers or other arrival and departure packages with Hurtigruten, please be sure to review the information here.
Bergen
Jektevik Terminal, Nøstegaten 30, 5010 Bergen
Check-in opens at 10:30 and closes at 14:00. MS Trollfjord is open to guests from 12:00, and your cabin will be available from 15:00. The mandatory safety briefing will take place in the Guest Lounge of the terminal. The ship departs Bergen at 14:30.
At the end of the voyage, MS Trollfjord will arrive in Bergen at 07:00.
Oslo
Revierkaia, Revierstredet, 0150 Oslo
Check-in opens at 12:00 and closes at 17:00. Your cabin will be available from 15:00. The mandatory safety briefing will take place in the forward conference room on deck 5 before the ship’s departure at 18:00.
At the end of the voyage, MS Trollfjord will arrive in Oslo at 08:00.
Tromsø
Prostneset, Quay 8 (next to the terminal), Samuel Arnesens gate 3, 9008 Tromsø
Check-in opens at 08:00 and closes at 17:00. A mandatory safety briefing will take place onboard. Cabins are available from 15:00. MS Trollfjord departs Tromsø either at 18:00 or 21:00, depending on the itinerary. Please check your personal itinerary for departure times.
MS Trollfjord will arrive in Tromsø at 08:00.

Bergen
Day 1 | Arrival
If included, your tour will begin with an overnight stay in either the Clarion Bergen Hotel, Clarion Admiral Hotel or Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz. For transfers to the hotel, the closest Flybussen bus stops are:

Check-in at all hotels is at 15:00, and if you arrive early you can store your luggage and explore Bergen.
All guests need to visit the hospitality desk at either Clarion Bergen Hotel or Clarion Admiral Hotel the day before embarkation, any time between 18:00-21:00. This is where you will receive transfer information as well as your luggage tag for check-in.
Day 2 | Embarking MS Trollfjord
Jektevik Terminal, Nøstegaten 30, 5010 Bergen
Breakfast is included at your hotel before your transfer time to MS Trollfjord. If included in your booking, the bus will pick you at your hotel which will have a ‘MS Trollfjord’ sign on it. Transfer times are set by deck number. You can find the approximate times below, but please note that the times may change, and the hospitality desk will have the final transfer times for you.
Decks 7, 8, and unspecified cabins: 11:00
Decks 4 and 6: 11:30
If included in your booking, you will also enjoy a sightseeing tour that starts from your hotel. The bus will be outside Clarion Hotel Bergen at 09:00 or 09:30. The tour does involve some walking, so we recommend weather-proof clothes and shoes. Please check with the hospitality desk for the final times.
Please take all of your belongings with you on the bus, as the tour will end at the terminal. Please be sure that the luggage tag you received from the hospitality desk is attached to your luggage along with your cabin number.
Check-in at Jektevik Terminal opens at 10:30 and closes at 14:00.
After you have checked in at the terminal and dropped off your luggage, all guests will attend the safety briefing in the Guest Lounge Lecture Hall, located inside the terminal building.
Lunch will be served on board in the main dining, Flora, between 12:00 and 14:00. Your cabin will be ready for you at 14:00. After you’ve settled in, our Coastal Experience Team will be waiting to meet you between 15:00 and 17:45 to give you information about upcoming activities and lectures.
We set sail from Bergen at 14:30, and your journey on The North Cape Line begins!
Oslo
Day 1 | Arrival
Please check your personal itinerary if you have a hotel night booked.
If you have booked the Oslo transfer with Hurtigruten, you’ll be provided with a Flytoget ticket in your confirmation email. Please follow the instructions here on how to access your ticket and to use the Flytoget.
If booked through Hurtigruten, you may be in the Clarion Hotel The Hub which is located within 200 meters walking distance from the closest exit to the Byporten shopping of the Oslo Sentralstasjon (Oslo Central Station). Please click here to find a map of the station and the location of the hotel.
Check-in for Oslo hotels is available at 15:00 and luggage can be stored there for early arrivals.
Be sure to stop at the hospitality desk at Clarion Hotel The Hub between 18:00 and 21:00 to pick up your luggage tags and get the time for your transfer, as these are subject to change.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the capital of Norway!
Day 2 | Embarking MS Trollfjord
Revierkaia, Revierstredet, 0150 Oslo
Breakfast is included at your hotel before your transfer to MS Trollfjord. Please ensure you take all your belongings with you on the transfer bus, which will meet you outside Clarion Hotel The Hub at 12:00.
If included in your booking, you will also enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour with an English-speaking guide that starts from Clarion Hotel The Hub. The tour does involve some walking, so we recommend weather-proof clothes and shoes. The approximate start times for the tour are 09:00, 09:30 or 10:00. Please check with the hospitality desk for your time.
The tour ends at the port, where you will meet MS Trollfjord. Please check your personal itinerary and make sure that the provided luggage tag is attached to your luggage at check-in at the port.
You may embark and check-in on board starting from 12:00 and check-in closes at 17:00.
Once on board, everyone must attend the safety briefing, which will be conducted in the ship's lecture hall.
Lunch will be served in the main restaurant, Flora, between 12:00 and 14:30. Your cabin will be ready at 15:00. After you’ve settled in, our Coastal Experience Team will be waiting to meet you between 15:00 and 17:45 to give you information about upcoming activities and lectures.
MS Trollfjord sets sail from Oslo at 18:00, and your journey on The North Cape Line begins!
Tromsø
Day 1 | Arrival
If you have pre-booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel, you can read more information about the red Bussring buses to the city centre here. Please be sure to present your transfer voucher.
Please check your personal itinerary if you have booked a hotel in Tromsø. Check-in is open from 15:00 for all hotels. The rest of the day is yours to explore and enjoy Tromsø, the Arctic capital of Norway.
Breakfast is included at your hotel.
Day 2 | Embarking MS Trollfjord
Prostneset, Quay 8 (next to the terminal), Samuel Arnesens gate 3, 9008 Tromsø
After breakfast, the bus to MS Trollfjord will stop by the city-centre hotels from 12:00 onwards. Please be sure to take all your belongings and luggage with you.
Once at the port, check-in on board MS Trollfjord is open between 08:00 and 17:00.
Lunch will be served on board in the main restaurant, Flora, between 12:00 and 14:30. Your cabin will be ready for you at 15:00. On board, you’ll be notified when the Coastal Experience Team will take you through the mandatory safety briefing before the ship’s departure.
Please make sure you are on board MS Trollfjord by 17:00 at the latest. MS Trollfjord departs Tromsø at either 18:00 or 21:00, depending on your itinerary.
Departure and disembarking
Bergen
Your journey on MS Trollfjord will come to end at Bergen’s Jektevik Terminal at 07:00.
After enjoying breakfast on board, you’ll disembark, collect your luggage, and if pre-booked, catch the transfer bus waiting for you just outside the terminal.
If included in your booking, the transfer will take you to either the airport or city-centre hotels. There are lockers located inside the terminal building where you can store your luggage if you wish to explore on your own before heading to your next destination.
Oslo
Your journey will end in Oslo’s Revierkaia port at 08:00.
If you have booked the Oslo transfer with Hurtigruten, you’ll be provided with a Flytoget ticket in your email. Please follow the instructions here on how to access your ticket and to use the Flytoget. The Oslo Central Station is a 700-metre walk from the Revierkaia port.
Alternatively, there may be taxis waiting just outside the port area. If you have questions regarding getting to the airport, please speak to the reception staff on MS Trollfjord the day prior to disembarking, as they are happy to offer advice.
Tromsø
Your voyage will end in Tromsø at 08:00. After breakfast on board, take all your belongings with you to the transfer bus which will be outside the terminal at 11:00. This will take you to your city-centre hotel.
Check in opens from at 15:00. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the Arctic Capital of Norway. Breakfast is included the next day.
