Beautiful walk
We take you ashore with our expedition boats, where you will go leave the boats on to a jetty. There you have the choice to either rent a bike with the local supplier or hike the 1200 metres to the Brestua Glacier Centre. Along the way you will enjoy the beautiful and special cultural landscape and get a feeling for why already historical figures like the German Emperor Wilhelm II and Fridtjof Nansen enjoyed the area. You can learn more about historical visitors of the area at the Brestua Glacier Centre, which is located on a moraine right by idyllic Svartisvatnet Lake.
