Day 1: Arrive in Edinburgh
Relax overnight in a hotel in the heart of beautiful Edinburgh. If you have the time, walk around to experience some of the city's best things to see and do, and places to visit.
Day 2: Edinburgh and Glasgow
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be met by your guide for your panoramic coach tour. First, we'll visit Edinburgh. We'll drive through the Old Town and onto Holyrood House, the Queen's Scottish residence. Then we'll visit Edinburgh Castle – home of Scottish royalty through the ages – high above the city.
After enjoying a typical Scottish lunch, our trip continues to Glasgow. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the best things to see in the city. Your guide will share insights into Glasgow's industrial, architectural and cultural history. Enjoy a visit to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum before being transferred to your ship at Greenock, where your expedition cruise begins.
