You'll be collected from your hotel in Buenos Aires and driven to an estancia just outside the city. Here, you'll learn all about the gaucho way of life. On arrival, sample Argentine cuisine in the form of delicious empanadas, before taking a stroll around the grounds and museum. You'll meet the gauchos of the Argentine Pampas – skilled horsemen, sometimes described as the 'cowboys of Argentina'.

After working up an appetite, you'll enjoy a traditional asado of delicious barbecued meats, eaten family-style. Sit together with your hosts and other guests and dine on famous Argentine beef. As you eat, gauchos in traditional dress will entertain you with traditional folk dancing.

After lunch, weather permitting, you’ll see an impressive display of the gaucho's horse riding and handling skills. You'll also have the chance to go horseback riding on an optional activity, before returning to the city.
