Day 1: Arrival to Guayaquil
Arrive to Guayaquil Airport from Galapagos Islands.
Guayaquil is the largest city and main port of Ecuador. It is situated on the west bank of the Guayas River, 45 miles (72 km) upstream from the Gulf of Guayaquil of the Pacific Ocean. Guayaquil is not only the gateway to the Galapagos Islands, but the beating commercial heart of Ecuador and a vibrant city. Many high buildings and several hills with colorful houses characterize the city.
One of the most extensive urban-renewal projects in South America is Malecón 2000, a promenade along the west shore of the Guayas River. From here many historical monuments, museums, gardens, fountains and shopping malls can be visited.
Transfer from Guayaquil Airport to your hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2: Departure from Guayaquil
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Guayaquil airport according to your flight departure time. End of your post extension programme.

Remarks/Requirements
This tour is available as post-programme in combination with your voyage ending in Guayaquil upon return from Galapagos Islands.
At the time of booking, please ensure your original flight from Balta Island has been booked to Guayaquil. If your original flight is to Quito, please ensure you inform us in due time. Your flight from Galapagos Islands will be changed to Guayaquil at no extra cost.
Please also advise your flight departure times from Guayaquil to your home destination no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of your voyage.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up until 6 weeks before departure.
