Day 1: Sintra, Monserrate Palace and Cascais
After disembarkation, we’ll visit the golden beaches of Cascais on the Portuguese Riviera, along with its bustling harbor.
Next, you’ll visit the parks and palace of Monserrate Palace, a masterpiece of Romanticism. Take a walk around its sublime gardens full of ruins and exotic flowers, and then enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch in a local restaurant.
Afterward, we’ll visit the UNESCO-listed town of Sintra, with its 19th-century architecture, pastel villas, and castles. After seeing the sights, we’ll travel to Lisbon, where you’ll spend the night at a hotel. Enjoy the evening on your own.
