Depart from the pier and drive to Chã das Caldeiras (top of the volcano).

Visiting Chã das Caldeiras Natural Park means appreciating the greatest tourist attraction in Cape Verde and one of the most impressive landscapes in the world.

This is the crater of an ancient volcano, approximately five miles across, formed by the magma of successive eruptions. During the ride up to the top of the volcano, you will have time for short photo ops.

In Chã das Caldeiras, you can visit the wine cooperative and purchase some wine or local coffee. Afterward, lunch will be served at the restaurant in the middle of the volcano – it’s a truly authentic experience. Then, we’ll return to the pier with a panoramic drive passing by São Filipe.
