Journey to Lluta Valley and stop en route to observe the geoglyphs carved onto the hills by the region’s former inhabitants, and visit a rustic inn to sample coca leaf tea. The Aymara people use this tea to alleviate altitude sickness. Continue to Copaquilla Pukara, the ruins of an old fortress that protected the surroundings. Then proceed to Putre to visit the unique streets and learn about their adobe houses.
