The “East Island”
We drive along Skálafjørður, the region’s longest fjord, and continue along Funningsfjørður. Admire the grassy peaks surrounding the village of Funningur before heading uphill and passing the highest mountain in the Faroes, Slættaratindur. After stopping at a viewpoint to see the legendary sea stacks Risin and Kellingin, we drive back to port, passing Eiði village and the Streymin Bridge on the way.
