Geological wonders
After boarding a bus from the harbor, we drive alongside Kaldbak fjord to the trailhead. Hike uphill to just over 900 feet above sea level, pausing at the top of the columnar basalt of the Streymoy Sill. Admire the surrounding mountain lakes and rocky outcrops, sculpted smooth by ancient glaciers. Following the path down the mountain, we head to the romantic village of Leynar before returning to Torshavn.
