Yarmouth is known for some of the most exuberant examples of Victorian architecture in the Maritimes, a legacy of the wealthy captains and ship owners of the town’s seafaring Golden Age.
Join your guide on this informative walk to the Heritage District, with several blocks of beautiful residences including the Fuller Brush Home, which you will visit on today’s excursion. At the Yarmouth County Museum, housed in a lovely granite church, enjoy refreshments and sweets prepared especially for your visit. View historic waterfront warehouses, such as the Killam Brothers Building.
Before returning to your ship, enjoy the town at your leisure, as Hurtigruten is docked only short stroll from the waterfront.
