An enchanted landscape

Follow the old trail between Patreksfjörður and Tálknafjörður. This was the main route that connected the fjords before roads were built in the 1950s. Walk from Lambeyrarháls to Suðureyri to see an old whaling station. Along the way, stop by a place said by locals to be a fairy settlement and admire the many birds and stunning scenery.
