This oyster and mussel trip in Lysekil is an adventure, amid the scent of seaweed and freshly made seafood. During this tour, you will have the chance to pick your own mussels and oysters. The group will prepare and cook these delicacies for a delicious meal, served on a beautiful cliff in the Bohulslän archipelago.

Begin your exciting day by meeting your tour leader at the pier. Together, you will take a relaxing stroll through the town toward the fishing boat, Signe.

This charming boat will take you on a scenic ride to the mussel farm, where the staff of Lysekil's Oysters & Mussels will welcome you. Here, you will learn how mussels live and the best way to harvest them.

The boat ride continues to one of the few oyster banks in Bohuslän, home of the exclusive Ostrea Edulis—the original European species. On the west coast, they call them the ‘Swedish oyster’. Help harvest some oysters and learn more about this delicacy.

Then it’s time for a delicious lunch at Käringeholmen, where you will cook the mussels and open the oysters. After this unforgettable experience, the Signe will take you back to Norra Hamnen in Lysekil.
