Colombia’s Caribbean Coast is known for its natural beauty, with towering peaks and a semi-tropical rainforest sweeping down to untouched beaches. On this tour, you can experience this wilderness on a hike through Tayrona National Park, a reserve created in 1964 to protect the area’s unique ecosystem. After you arrive, delve into the jungle and follow trails through the greenery as your guide gives insight into the native flora and fauna. Keep your eyes peeled, because the park is home to howler monkeys, lizards, and iguanas—not to mention over 400 species of birds, such as red woodpeckers and eagles.

After an approximately 90-minute hike, we arrive at La Piscina Beach, where you have free time to swim and enjoy a traditional lunch of fried fish, coconut rice, fried plantain slices, and salad.

After a great time at the beach, you hike 90 minutes back to the bus.
