Visit to Finca 6

Meet your guide at the port and take a transfer to Sierpe while driving along the Terraba River, one of the largest and important rivers in Costa Rica. Once in Finca 6, a local guide will give an explanation. Here, you can admire the perfect archeological stone sphere at this local park. Learn more about this cultural and historical area of Costa Rica at Finca 6 Museum, the second archeological site open to public in Costa Rica, along with Guayabo National Monument in Turrialba. Enjoy a typical lunch before heading back to the port in Golfito. There are three trails: Spheres Trail (0.1 mile), Alignments Trail (0.43 mile) and Settlements Trail (0.75 miles). The trails are not mutually exclusive and overlap. If you choose the Settlements Trail, it covers most of the Alignments Trail and Spheres Trail and all the important sections. The trails are flat and easy and can be covered in 45–65 minutes. Finca 6 takes you back in time with an informative little museum and its conservation and storytelling efforts. The possibility of watching the wildlife is an added attraction and enhances the experience.
