From the pier, travel to Pico de Loro (Parrot’s beak), a very peculiar rock formation located at the bottom of the Tacana volcano. After a short 15-minute hike, you will arrive to the massive rock. There, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forest.

Then you continue to Izapa, where you will enjoy a typical Mexican lunch. Afterwards, discover one of the most important Mayan archeological sites in the region, given its history and strategic location in a jade and cacao trade route. Your guide will show you the Mayan ball game (which still exists) and the rest of the remaining buildings of this Mayan center, while explaining the history of this unique civilization. After a day’s adventure, it will be time to head back to the ship.
