Board an air-conditioned van and travel to the 18th-century Fort San Diego located in traditional Acapulco or Old Town. Enjoy a complete guided tour of the Historical Museum of Acapulco. The museum exhibits trace the city’s history from pre-Hispanic and colonial times to the present.
Continue across the city to the Golden Zone of Acapulco on our way to Las Brisas, a gated residential area, to visit the iconic Chapel of Peace. This memorial chapel features the famous Trouyet Cross and offers superb views of Acapulco Bay.
There will be a short stop on the way back to admire the Diego Rivera murals as well as for those wishing to shop art crafts and souvenirs before embarking on the ship.
