MS Maud
You're one step closer to a world of wonder onboard MS Maud.
Small Ship, Big Adventure
From the moment you step onboard MS Maud, we want you to relax, discover new places and learn fascinating facts. MS Maud is technologically advanced and well-suited for expedition cruising. Taking around 500 guests on each expedition, you'll enjoy how small and intimate the ship is. It's the perfect size ship: big enough for a range of onboard facilities but small enough to sail close to the coast for breathtaking views and to access areas larger ships can't reach.

Discover life onboard MS Maud
A name and ship steeped in history, heritage and charm. MS Maud, previously MS Midnatsol, is named after one of the most famous polar vessels of all time, Roald Amundsen's 'Maud' from 1917. Today's MS Maud is equipped with advanced technology that makes her exceptionally well-suited for expedition cruising. Her bright interiors are appointed in a classic Art Deco style. Like all Hurtigruten Expeditions ships, MS Maud is an environmentally progressive vessel, with further plans to continue making improvements in an effort to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. Whether you're ready to say hello to your inner scientist in our advanced Science Center, or indulge your inner foodie in one of three restaurants onboard. This floating basecamp will be your home away from home as you explore the world around you.

Getting you ashore.
In keeping with our adventurous spirit, MS Maud visits small remote ports on our expeditions around the British Isles, Norway, and the Arctic. Due to sea conditions and the secluded locations we visit, it's not always possible to dock in port. Sometimes we have to use our small expedition tender boats to get ashore, but don't worry our crew will be on hand to ensure you can do this safely.
