Starting from Dakar in Senegal, you'll be taken by bus to Bandia Nature Reserve. Once there, you'll meet your local guide and enjoy a two-hour tour of one of Africa's best safari wildlife parks, where you'll encounter iconic safari animals.

Giraffes, antelopes, rhinos and gazelles all call these 3,500 hectares home. You might also see jackals, giant African tortoises, ostriches and turtles. It's also a bird sanctuary.

At the end of your tour, you’ll enjoy a cold drink overlooking a waterhole, where buffalos, crocodiles and monkeys quench their thirst. After your African safari experience, you'll return to Dakar by bus.

Please note: This excursion is weather dependent and we may need to cancel it if conditions are unsuitable. We suggest that you wear light clothing and comfortable walking shoes, with long skirts or trousers.

Remarks and requirements

This tour is available as a Pre-Programme in combination with expedition cruises beginning in Dakar, and begins and ends at your hotel.
Tours run from 14:00-19:00.
Available for guests with limited mobility on request.
Minimum number of participants: 2.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up until 6 weeks before departure.
