The Maritime Museum of Douarnenez is in an old cannery on Port Rhu within easy reach from the ship.  

The museum has over 30,000 square feet of exhibitions and around ten thousand objects connected to the maritime world, including over 280 boats. The museum has a dugout canoe from Guinea-Bissau, a 100-foot factory ship and 19th-century work boats, as well as 4 large historic boats, docked outside that visitors can board and explore from deck to hold.
