Eigg Nature Landing

White sand beaches.
Great for hikes off the beaten track.
Disembarking on a small boat on a solitary coast is the essence of expedition travelling. No port, no houses and perhaps no vehicles. Only raw nature, infinite landscapes, and untamed wildlife. No filters of any kind. The real pleasure of exploring the environment with the open mind of the pioneers, of discovering the world as it used to be.
Eigg is a diverse island which is known for its spectacular coastal scenery, birdwatching and geology. Wildflowers also flourish here amongst the native moorland and woodlands. With its rich history, you will find evidence of ancient forts and burial mounds scattered across the island.
Eigg is working towards becoming carbon net zero, they are using a heating system that uses local wood, which in turn supports the local wood fuel business as well as reducing carbon emissions.
