Fun on the funicular
Enjoy a funicular ride up Mount Fløyen, an area popular among Bergen locals. The views over the city are breathtaking. At the top, you’ll find cafés and a restaurant, offering an ideal stop to soak up the scenery over a refreshment. Watch hikers and runners go by, and children playing. If you want to explore more on foot, take the walking trail back down to the city centre.
Practical information
Walking information: At guests’ discretion. Transportation to the funicular is not included. There are walking paths at the top of Mount Fløyen, including a 3km path down to the city center.
Remarks/requirements: Comfortable walking shoes, backpack, and water bottle recommended.
Wheelchair accessible: The Funicular accepts maximum 3 wheelchairs per departure.
