The Ballestas Islands’ wildlife is compared to that of the Galapagos
Wildlife up close
This cluster of small islands are nicknamed ‘the Peruvian Galapagos’, because of the abundant marine wildlife. You’ll see numerous seals, sea lions and Humboldt penguins and get close enough to capture stunning photos from the boat. Expect to admire seabirds like the Red-billed Inca Tern, the Peruvian Booby and the Peruvian Pelican in great numbers. This will be memorable, so bring that camera!
