Northern Lights Promise
Enjoy a Classic Voyage free of charge if the Northern Lights do not appear on your cruise to Norway.
Join an expedition cruise to Norway from Dover and sail into the Arctic Circle, as far up as the Lofoten Islands, Tromsø and the North Cape. Uncover the gems of the stunning Norwegian coast throughout the year.
During the summer months, Norway comes alive under the glow of the midnight sun. With 24 hours of sunlight, there is more time to explore this beautiful coastline, from the secluded coastal communities to spotting iconic wildlife and learning about the local Sami culture.
Alternatively, explore Norway under the glow of the magical northern lights during the winter months (October - March) when the landscape is covered in snow and it really feels like a winter wonderland.

Meet the unique locals
The original “Maud” got her name from the first Queen of modern-day Norway. She also had her namesake in Hurtigruten’s 1925 flagship DS Dronning Maud (“DS Queen Maud”).
MS Maud is well-suited for expedition cruising, with her bright interiors appointed in a classic Art Deco style. Like all Hurtigruten Expeditions ships, MS Maud is an environmentally progressive vessel, but there are plans to keep making improvements in an effort to reduce emissions and fuel consumption.
