See the world differently direct from Dover

There's plenty to explore and uncover direct from the chalky cliffs of Dover. Journey along the British coastline past quaint costal villages and ports bustling with culture, history and natural beauty before reaching the dramatic windswept islands of Scotland. For those wanting to leave behind the UK, to go in search of the Northern Lights or Midnight Sun, we have a range of expeditions that head north towards our homeland of Norway and Southern Scandinavia. Our expeditions are packed with adventures and excitement beyond the tourists spots for a personal and up-close view of the natural and human world.

Meet the Fleet: MS Maud

MS Maud, is named after one of the most famous polar vessels of all time, Roald Amundsens “Maud” from 1917. The original “Maud” got her name from the first Queen of modern-day Norway. She also had her namesake in Hurtigruten’s 1925 flagship DS Dronning Maud (“DS Queen Maud”). MS Maud is well-suited for expedition cruising, with her bright interiors are appointed in a classic Art Deco style. Like all Hurtigruten Expeditions ships, MS Maud is a environmentally progressive vessel, but there are plans to keep making improvements in an effort to reduce emissions and fuel consumption.

Get on board with ORCA

Whales and dolphins hold a special place in our hearts, as they travel to the same beautiful and remote spots as us. We are always spotting these creatures on our ships and want to do everything we can to support them, which is why we have partnered with ORCA to help with their important work.
