Starting out from Reine, you will make a photo stop at Reinehalsen, the classic Lofoten viewpoint. Your first main stop is in Å, an authentic Lofoten fishing village, where you can enjoy a stroll in the village centre and admire the traditional local "rorbu" houses where the fishermen used to live. And do not miss the delicious cinnamon swirls from the local cafe. Your next main stop is in Vikten by the unique turf-roofed building—the glassblower’s studio. Here, he transforms molten glass into art. A ceramics workshop and café is just across the road. You will then leave Vikten for Lofotr Viking Museum, where you travel more than 1000 years back in time to enjoy a typical Viking meal for lunch. You will also have time to experience the museum.
Finally, you arrive in Henningsvær, a charming village surrounded by the sea at the end of a wild and beautiful coastal road. In Gallery Lofoten, you can admire the largest collection of paintings from the Golden Age of North-Norwegian Art, among other works. There is also time to explore the village, with stunning harbour views just a few minutes’ walk from the village centre, before rejoining your ship in Svolvær.
