Join this guided walking tour to learn more about current highlights and remarkable history of the lively fishing town of Egersund.
  • Beautiful city centre

  • Remarkable wooden houses

  • Egersund Church

  • Lively Fishing harbour

Egersund town has one of the best-preserved wooden housing settlements in Norway. A town worthy of preservation with wooden houses dating back hundreds of years, all very colourful. The town has a long history dating back to the Viking times. Egersund is known as the biggest fishing port in Norway as well as for the famous Egersund porcelain.  And of course, the homemade Egersund chocolate.  Let us not forget the row of boathouses that cannot be negatively affected by high or low tide, mostly because we do not have tides in the harbour.
