Drive to Cova Figueira & Visit Espigão.
Drive to Mosteiros.
Visit Salinas.
Your tour will start driving towards Cova Figueira Espigão. From there, you will get a complete view of the Volcano with its lava flow going all the way down to the sea.
We will then continue with a walk to the Forest Perimeter Monte Velha and will admire the coffee plantation.
Back to the Town of Mosteiros discover the small attractive centre, wedged between the mountain and the sea, contrasting with the lava stone houses on the sombre outskirts.
Finally, drive through Salinas for a relaxing time, in a small black sandy beach before to return to the pier.
Only by going round the island you will get an idea of the impact on the island of the 1951 eruption.
