Norway’s landscape is defined by its characteristic fjords and the glaciers that created them. On this excursion, you will have the chance to learn about these glaciers and to see one of them up close.
Start this excursion with a trip to the base of one of the branches of the Jostedalsbreen glacier, the largest glacier in continental Europe.
Then, visit the Norwegian Glacier Museum, an award-winning museum and an information centre for the Jostedalsbreen National Park. Your visit to the museum begins with a brief introduction. Then, explore this interactive and educational museum at your leisure.

Practical Information:
Comfortable walking shoes, backpack, and water bottlerecommended.
Walking information: Some walking required at the site of the glacier. Terrain can be rocky and uneven. Just approx 2-300 meters walk in total.
Included: Bus transport – guide at the glacier – entrance ticket to the Norwegian glacier museum.
