Explore at your own pace
This is a special opportunity: an invitation to get to know the tiny Norwegian coastal town of Brønnøysund, from its history to its modern day life.
Brønnøysund itself is just over a hundred years old. But people have lived here for over 10,000 years. This archipelago has been home to generations of fishermen and farmers who have maintained a sustainable living in a seascape near the Arctic Circle.
Grab a map and stroll at your leisure from the port to the oldest part of the town. Guides will be available along the way to offer insight and stories. One of the stops on your walk will be a beautiful stone church, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a short concert with local artists. Along the way, you will taste typical local snacks, including the regional specialty “Vega lefsen.”
