Jacqueline Day Joins Hurtigruten as Director of Host Agencies & Strategic Accounts
Cheryl Gatto and German Jones further expand Sales team across North America
Seattle, WA (June 18, 2019) – Hurtigruten, the world leader in exploration travel, has appointed Jacqueline Day as Director of Host Agencies & Strategic Accounts to lead the Seattle regional headquarters out of California. Day brings over 15 years of cruise and travel industry expertise to Hurtigruten.
Day is a seasoned cruise and sales expert that brings expertise from travel organizations, agencies, and accounts across the Pacific Northwest. She will drive revenue growth through the Host agencies, identify client opportunities, and lead and manage the Host agencies and other strategic accounts.

Hurtigruten also welcomes Cheryl Gatto, Sales Director, Midwest and German Jones, Sales Director, South America and Florida. Gatto is a sales professional and travel specialist with over 30 years of experience and leadership as a sales director in the Midwest. She previously spent three years with Trafalgar Tours and, more recently, nine years with Sceptre Vacations; her passion for travel and business acumen is an asset to Hurtigruten’s growing sales team. Jones joins Hurtigruten with over 15 years of travel and sales experience from Carnival Cruise Line, Corporate Traveler USA, and Insight Vacations & Luxury Gold. With a focus on maximizing guests’ experiences across North America and a dedication to client services, Gatto and Jones will continue to build the North American book of business in their respected regions and embody Hurtigruten’s values to Inspire, Empower, Care, and Explore.
