Drive a team of huskies through a winter wonderland on this exhilarating self drive experience.

After meeting your guide at the port, you’ll enjoy a 2-hour scenic bus ride inland towards Moen in Målselvdalen valley.  

At the camp, you'll learn how to drive your own team of energetic huskies. Friendly and obedient, it won’t be long before you’re steering them through the breathtaking winter snowscape. While at the camp, you can also visit the adorable husky puppies and try tobogganing. Then warm up with hot drinks and bidos, a traditional Sami stew.  

Practical information

  •    Language: English and Norwegian 

  • Included: Over suites/gloves/hats for sledding if required. Stew, water and hot drinks.  

  • Remarks/requirements: This excursion involves physical activity on uneven surfaces and/or steep terrain. A good level of fitness is required. Two people share a sled, swapping drivers as needed. Time on the sled is approx. 1 hour. Warm and waterproof layers of clothing are required. This excursion is snow conditions dependent (sledding may take place on wheels if there’s insufficient snow). 

  • Walking information: Short walking distance.
