The tour starts in Honningsvåg and takes you along the splendid fjords to the little fishing village of Skarsvåg, where you can enjoy a local hangout at Heidi’s Christmas and Winter House. Here you will be welcomed to the homely atmosphere of a traditional Norwegian Christmas. You can try the warm Norwegian mulled wine gløgg and the typical Christmas cake lefse.

The next stop will be in the idyllic village of Kamøyvær, where you can take a walk around its charming harbour with the little fishing fleet and perhaps meet fishermen fileting or hanging their fish. Wander around the colourful houses, from one fjord to another, and drop by the cosy art gallery “East of the Sun” of artist Eva Schmütterer. Her work and perspective show you the island throughout the intensive seasons.

There will be a short photo stop at the Tufjord viewpoint, from where it is possible to get a glimpse of the incredible North Cape cliff in the distance. The tour concludes with a short sightseeing trip in Honningsvåg, where your guide will introduce you to the history of this delightful city and the important points of interests, such as the old church, the galleries, shops, and monuments.
