Iron Age village

Walk past a series of sea lochs, through grassy moorlands with spectacular scenery. Visit the Iron Age village at Bostadh Beach, with a life-size replica of a ‘jelly baby’ house – the name comes from its distinctive blob shape. Take time to walk around this remarkable reconstruction for an insight into the life of the Norse people of this ancient community from around the year 500AD.
