A day of wonder 

On this full-day adventure, we head to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located where two tectonic plates meet, here you’ll find a rugged lava plane blanketed in verdant moss and wildflowers. 

We’ll also visit the mighty Gullfoss waterfall to witness the raw power of nature as water roars down into a deep ravine, creating one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Finally, we’ll see the awe-inspiring spouting geysers of the Geysir Geothermal Area.

  • Remarks/requirements: Please dress according to local weather conditions and wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes. Please note that the order of sites may vary. 

  • Walking or Activity information: Involves physical activity on uneven surfaces and/or steep terrain. You may be expected to carry your own backpack and equipment. Not suitable if you have limited mobility. Many of the sights on this tour can be seen from the bus.
