Planned Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Panama City, old and new
After disembarkation in Panama City, we’ll head to the Panama Canal, one of the world’s greatest engineering feats. We’ll visit the Miraflores Locks, the first set a ship must pass through when transiting from the Pacific. Right next to the locks is the IMAX Theatre, where you can take an incredible trip through the history and operation of the canal through the magic of 3D.
Your adventure then continues to Casco Viejo, the colonial heart of Panama City, where you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour. As you explore, you’ll learn about the ancient history, legends and lore of this beautiful district which is a harmonious blend of Spanish, French and Italian architecture. During the tour, you’ll enjoy a three-course lunch at a local restaurant.
Back on the bus, a panoramic drive around modern Panama City takes you to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure before an overnight stay.
Day 2: The end of your adventure
After an excellent breakfast at your hotel, your Post-Programme comes to an end.
