Take in the dramatic natural scenery of southern Madeira. Cabo Girão, located on the highest promontory in Europe, offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape and ocean.
  • Take in Cabo Girão viewpoint, situated on the highest promontory in Europe

  • Visit the fishing village Câmara de Lobos

  • Photo stop at Pico da Torre Viewpoint

  • Stroll around the charming city of Funchal

We start by the pier and proceed towards Pico dos Barcelos, where a view of Funchant and the surrounding villages scattered over the green slopes awaits you.

From here you will be driven to Câmara de Lobos, a well-known fishing village. This is also the place where Sir Winston Churchill created beautiful island paintings.

Then it’s time to make a photo stop at Pico da Torre Viewpoint. Here you will see lovely, quaint red-tiled roof houses clustered on the rocky point and the brightly painted fishing boats anchored in the harbour.

Your tour will then proceed to Cabo Girão, the highest sea cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world. Soaring 580m/1,900 ft, its etched face tells the tale of its volcanic origins. From this impressive promontory, you will have breath-taking views along the island’s southern coast.

Before returning to your ship you will have some free time to stroll in the charming city of Funchal.
