The history of this beautiful city comes alive during this guided walk through Oslo.

Begin your stroll under the protective shadow of the imposing Akershus Fortress and Castle. Pass the statue of Franklin D. Roosevelt before stopping at City Hall, a modern landmark containing the works of some of Norway’s most distinguished artists.  During your visit view impressive frescoes, sculptures and woodcarvings, along with the largest mural in Europe.   

Next, walk by the National Theatre, the Royal Palace and the Royal Guard. You will pass the University of Oslo and the Ibsen Museum, which was once the apartment of famed playwright Henrik Ibsen.   

Enjoy coffee and cake at one of the historical cafes in Oslo.   

On your return walk you will pass the 19th-century Parliament Building and the medieval Akershus Fortress.
