Visit the Narvik War Museum, where Northern Norway’s World War II history is explored in depth. The exhibitions focus on the Nazi attack on Narvik and Norway in 1940 and the following five years of war and occupation.
The museum uses design, photos, film, sound, and technology to enhance your experience, and exhibits a number of World War II artifacts. There is also a section reflecting on universal issues related to war, conflict, and human rights.
A guide will meet you and take you to the auditorium to share the story of the Battle of Narvik. After the lecture, you’ll head inside the museum. There will be hosts on hand, but the individual walk through the museum is at your leisure.
