This ‘Free and Hanseatic City’ is Germany's second-largest metropolis and largest port. Hamburg is elegant and cosmopolitan. This city hosts grand office buildings, magnificent promenades, international musicals, spacious parks, extravagant shopping malls, and (of course) the ‘naughty-but-nice’ Reeperbahn district.
On your tour, see some of Hamburg’s highlights, like the beautiful 19th-century City Hall or St. Michaels church, called simply ‘Michel’ by Hamburg citizens. Behold the blue heart of Hamburg, the Alster, when you head to the Speicherstadt, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the red-brick architecture of Hamburg's historic warehouse district, along with the new Hafen City district, which includes with the iconic Elbphilharmonie concert hall. Finally, on your way to the world-famous Reeperbahn district, you will pass by the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken, where sailing vessels used to moor.
