Picnic at Moose Meadows

After a scenic drive to Chilkat State Park, you’ll begin your 3-mile round hike through temperate rainforest to Moose Meadows. Throughout your journey, your naturalist guide will share knowledge about local flora and fauna.

When we reach Moose Meadows, you’ll be met with magnificent glacier views across the fjord, and possibly even some moose grazing nearby. We’ll enjoy a beachside picnic here, surrounded by beautiful scenery. If we have time, we’ll continue hiking south along the coast before heading back.

*While we're excited to share the unique flavours of this region with you, it’s important to note that allergy awareness and hygiene standards can vary widely across the world. The local community providing food for this tour may not be as familiar with allergy concerns or preparation standards as suppliers in your home country or the expert chefs onboard our ships. As a precaution, we advise anyone with a severe food allergy to contact a member of the onboard Expedition Team before booking this excursion.
