Caves, wildlife, and sagas

Join a coastal tour of Heimaey on a guided boat trip, where you’ll visit two sea caves with marvelous acoustics. The sea is a wildlife paradise. Seals, porpoises, and dolphins thrive in summer, and you might see orcas and other whales. This excursion will show you how the eruption of the Eldfell volcano in 1973 changed this coast forever.
