Enjoy the beauty of the Outer Cape as you depart traveling along the National Seashore, viewing the beaches, lighthouses, and the very tip of Cape Cod. Provincetown is the closest port to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, a premier whale watching destination. 

A naturalist accompanies every cruise to serve as an interpretive guide to the ecology and natural history of Cape Cod and Massachusetts Bays with emphasis on whales, other marine life and marine birds' passengers may see. 

Wildlife sightings are frequent, however, not guaranteed.

  • Remarks/requirements: Dress in layers, walking shoes, comfortable clothing, a light jacket or sweatshirt. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera and binoculars if you have them. The Whale watch boat is not exclusive to Hurtigruten Expeditions.
